Camden Homes is a fast-growing single family asset management company that performs its own construction, property management, and financing. We are currently seeking an experienced Production Home Builder to join our team for projects in Houston (Cleveland, Texas). 

The successful candidate will be responsible for directing activities of workers concerned with the construction of buildings and and other construction projects and the presentation of homes in a timely manner. The ideal candidate has a great attitude, is a team player, and has a desire to learn and grow with our company. Must possess excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills and great attention to detail. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for opening and securing homes daily, and walking every home at least twice per day
  • Achieves highest quality and homeowner satisfaction by diligently managing resources, vendors and trades, and construction process
  • Audits every delivery to verify quality and quantity of the material being delivered
  • Monitors and maintains a clean subdivision while holding subcontractors responsible
  • Verifies accuracy of plans prior to release to subs
  • Carries warranty on all closings for 30 days after sign-off with buyer/tenant  
  • Interacts with subcontractors and local city inspectors
  • Coordinates all necessary inspections and verifies city final inspection is complete and passed; forwards final to corp. office
  • Responsible for homeowner orientation
  • Maintains construction schedules and the tracking system (BuildPro) to track and report all phases of construction
  • Orders and coordinates delivery/installation of all materials/tasks required
  • Ensures compliance with established budgetary requirements
  • Ensures 100% compliance to OSHA regulations and enforces established safety guidelines and promotes a safe workplace
  • Maintains SWPPP documentation, acts proactively to eliminate violations, and resolves all violations within seven (7) days
  • Performs constant on-site inspections to verify quality and compliance
  • Walks QC inspection with QC/Warranty Manager
  • All other tasks as assigned


  • Must be able to work for projects located in Cleveland, TX
  • 3+ years experience as a Construction Superintendent/Manager
  • Experience with BuildPro, highly desired
  • Must be computer literate and have intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must be dependable and punctual
  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated, goal oriented and dependable
  • Must have high attention to detail, excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and listening skills 
  • Able to multi-task, prioritize and be flexible with changing business needs
