Camden Homes is currently seeking a Bilingual Appointment Scheduler to set-appointments for our Field Sales Reps via inbound and outbound calls.

Camden Homes has been building homes since 1998 and developed communities all over the Dallas/Ft Worth Metro areas. Currently, we are ranked as one of the largest home builders in the DFW area and have recently expanded to Houston, Texas.

Job Summary

You will be answering inbound calls and calling back prospective customers that requested additional information. This position does not require cold calling. The successful candidate must be fluent in English and Spanish and have strong and effective communication skills and a professional and friendly telephone voice. Must be energetic and have a positive attitude. Must also have a distinct ability to build and maintain great client relationships. Prior sales experience is not required but would be beneficial. 

Job Responsibilities

  • Prospect for and acquire new appointments via inbound and outbound calling, 85% of work time will be spent on the phone
  • Set appointments and manage leads for the Sales Reps
  • Transfer calls to appropriate Sales Reps 
  • Obtain and document critical information about clients
  • Conduct lead follow-up and nurture leads until appointments are set
  • Create a sense of comfort and familiarity with leads/clients 
  • Call past clients and ask for referrals
  • Manage contact database
  • Communicate effectively with peers, supervisors, and prospective clients in written and verbal form
  • Practice, memorize, and internalize sales scripts, may create own scrips with manager approval

Requirements

Education and Experience

  • 1+ years experience in a customer service or sales role
  • Students currently working towards a college degree strongly encouraged to apply

Skills and Abilities

  • Fluency in English and Spanish required
  • Professional upbeat telephone voice, strong probing skills, persistence
  • Must have a valid driver's licence
  • Must be reliable and punctual and have the ability to work independently
  • Must be customer oriented and friendly
  • Self-motivated, goal oriented and dependable
  • Exceptional written, verbal and listening skills with high level of confidence
  • Able to multi-task, prioritize and be flexible with changing business needs
  • Excellent time-management and organizational skills
  • Experience with Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Willing and able to work every Saturday and Sunday

Work Hours & Compensation

  • Full-time, minimum 32 hours per week
  • Must be able to work Saturday and Sunday from 10 am to 6 pm
  • 2 days off during the week
